Campaign to Save Page Pond & Forest

The Campaign to save the Page Pond and Forest is the last opportunity to permanently conserve this beautiful Pond and surrounding large forest tract and wetlands complex. The 567-acre Page Pond and Forest located on Meredith Neck, New Hampshire, is an iconic landscape comprised of nearly 500 acres of forestland with two miles of frontage on Page Brook. As one of the largest remaining undisturbed forest tracts in the Town of Meredith, its protection is critical to the long-term maintenance of water quality in Lake Winnipesaukee. Page Pond and Forest is also prized for its wildlife habitat, scenic beauty, and recreational values. However, despite its natural and cultural resources, the Page Pond and Forest property has been—and continues to be—of interest to developers.
