Public Open House: Resort on the Bay, Laconia

After several years of planning, partnership and construction, LWA is excited to celebrate the completion of a major stormwater improvement project with Resort on the Bay in Laconia. The project was designed to reduce stormwater runoff, sediment, pollutants, and nutrients reaching Langley Cove and Paugus Bay. Improvements include minimizing the beach area, a grass lined treatment swale and native plantings, all designed to capture and treat runoff before it enters the Cove.

Come see the improvements for yourself! Join us for a public open house on Thursday September 24 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm at Resort on the Bay (591 Weirs Blvd, Laconia, NH.) Stop by to tour the project, learn how the improvements work, and see how LWA and local leaders are partnering together to help protect the Bay.
