Watershed Action Plans provide the road map for how we, as individuals and communities, can reduce pollutant loading to meet lake and watershed goals to keep Winnipesaukee blue.

To date, the Lake Winnipesaukee Association has completed plans for 5 of the lake’s subwatersheds: Waukewan, Meredith Bay, Sanders Bay, Paugus Bay, and Moultonborough Bay Inlet. Currently, we are working on watershed plans for Moultonborough Bay and Winter Harbor. For each subwatershed plan, the process is similar: Identify sources of pollution, model the nutrient loading to the lake, create an action plan to reduce the nutrient loading, and implement the actions identified!
