Virtual Presentation – How to Identify & Report Cyanobacteria Blooms

Cyanobacteria are a natural part of our lakes and ponds, but under the right conditions, they can form blooms that may pose risks to people, pets, and wildlife. Knowing what to look for can help you keep yourself, your family, and your pets safe this summer.

The Moultonborough Cyanobacteria Committee and the Lake Winnipesaukee Alliance (LWA) invite you to a free virtual presentation on how to identify and report cyanobacteria blooms.

Join us as we discuss:

  • What cyanobacteria blooms look like and how to recognize them
  • The role of the Moultonborough Cyanobacteria Committee
  • How to report a potential bloom and who to contact

This session is great for Cyano Watchers and anyone who enjoys time on the water and wants to help keep our lakes healthy. Curious about what a Cyano Watcher does? Join us to learn more!
